Planning your next trip to Bali or elsewhere in Indonesia? There’s an important entry requirement for Bali you need to be aware of before you pack your bags. In response to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) recent classification of Mpox as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC), the Indonesian government has introduced a new health requirement for all travelers entering the country. This new rule is effective immediately.

Mandatory SATUSEHAT Health Pass

To ensure the safety of both travelers and residents, all passengers and aircraft personnel traveling from abroad must now complete a Health Pass prior to entry into Indonesia. This mandatory form, known as the SATUSEHAT Health Pass, must be filled out before boarding your flight.

The process is straightforward:

  1. Access the Form: You can find the mandatory Health Pass Form online here. It’s recommended that you complete it well in advance to avoid any last-minute issues at the airport.
  2. Complete the Form: After filling in all the required details, you will receive a QR Code and personal data information, which will be essential for your entry into Indonesia.
  3. Include Children: The SATUSEHAT Health Pass is required for every traveler, including children. Parents or guardians should fill in the form on behalf of their children and ensure they save the child’s QR Code, which will be used during the entry process.

Why Is This Important?

The Indonesian government’s new health measure is a proactive step to prevent the spread of Mpox and protect public health. Given the recent global health concerns, these regulations are crucial for safeguarding the wellbeing of everyone entering Indonesia.

What Happens If You Don’t Complete the SATUSEHAT Health Pass?

Failing to fill out the SATUSEHAT Health Pass before your departure could lead to significant delays or even denial of entry onto the plane or into Indonesia. To avoid any disruptions to your travel plans, it’s imperative to comply with this new requirement.
